Volunteer at the Farm
Grow, learn, share, and connect with your food
Join our volunteer program to share your skills, engage in meaningful farm work, learn about sustainable growing practices, and create a relationship with your farmers and food. We offer Volunteer Orientation the second Thursday of each month from 5:30 pm – 7 pm during the growing season, but you can choose to volunteer any time of the year – all ages are welcome with an adult chaperone! Contact work@cultivatingconnectionsmt.org and let us know you are interested in making a meaningful contribution by volunteering.
For volunteer opportunities, please sign-up on our email list (below) or follow us on Facebook and Instagram; these will alert you of upcoming projects, events, and immediate needs across all our programs.

Volunteer Days
You asked and we listened - due to popular demand we will now be offering weekly volunteer days during the growing season! Help us care for our starts & seedlings, plant veggies, weed, prep beds, harvest & wash veggies, feed the animals, and complete general farm upkeep as needed. This is a great opportunity to learn about gardening and farming, explore the farm, and build connections with other volunteers, Youth Interns, and our amazing staff. All ages are welcome with an adult chaperone. Just email work@cultivatingconnectionsmt.org to let us know you're interested!
Where:
Homestead Organics Farm – 175 Skalkaho Hwy, Hamilton, MT 59840
When volunteering with CCMT, please keep in mind...
• Come prepared to work outside and get dirty.
• Bring water in a container, sunscreen, snacks, and close-toed shoes. If you have a wide-brimmed hat and gloves, bring those too.
• Look for a sign at our ‘Welcome Gate’ to figure out where we will be working for the day. Otherwise, explore the farm and you will stumble upon us.
• Please show up as scheduled.
