Empowering Tomorrow’s Change Makers and Food Growers
The Youth Farm Internship Program at Cultivating Connections Montana is a unique and inspiring opportunity for High School students to grow and share healthy food, learn about sustainability, and connect with themselves and their community. Interns will gain real-world job skills in agriculture, food service, education, and childcare, all while working outside in the beautiful Bitterroot Valley.

Do you have a passion for sustainable agriculture? Do you want to be in service to your community while being paid? Do you love to cook or want to learn? Are you looking for an internship opportunity to put on your resume/college apps? Or maybe you just want a fun, part-time job in the outdoors!
If this sounds like you or a teen you know, you may be a perfect fit for our Youth Farm Internship Program! This PAID internship will teach you to:
- Lead change in your community
- Be part of a team dedicated to sustainable food and farming
- Master organic vegetable gardening
- Prepare nutritious value-added foods for donation
- Support children with different abilities at our Special Abilities Camp
- Plan and support community events
- Engage children in learning and play on the farm
- Explore the world of herbs and natural remedies
- Distribute produce at markets and in our Farm Stand
- And much more!
Starting pay for interns is $12.50 and increases yearly for returned interns.
2026 Season runs June 15th – August 15th.
Interns must be 14 – 19 years old before the season begins.
